You'll be responsible for securing financing for customers, structuring deals, and presenting a variety of financial and insurance products to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.\nResponsibilities:\nFinancing and Loan Processing:\nMeet with customers after the vehicle selection to discuss financing options.\nAssess customer creditworthiness and pre-qualify them for loan options from various lenders.\nNegotiate loan terms and interest rates with lenders on behalf of the customer.\nSecure financing approval and finalize loan documents.\nEnsure all loan documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations.\nProduct Presentation and Sales:\nPresent and explain various financial and insurance products (extended warranties, gap insurance, service contracts, etc.).\nTailor product recommendations to the customer's needs and budget.\nOvercome objections and effectively close deals on F&I products.\nMaintain a deep understanding of all offered products and their benefits.\nDeal Structuring and Profitability:\nStructure financing deals that meet customer needs while maximizing dealership profit.\nUtilize various tools and techniques to increase profitability within legal and ethical boundaries.\nTrack sales performance and identify opportunities to improve F&I penetration (percentage of customers purchasing F&I products).\nCustomer Service and Relationship Building:\nProvide exceptional customer service throughout the financing process, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.\nBuild trust and rapport with customers, addressing their concerns and questions with professionalism.\nMaintain a positive and welcoming demeanor in sometimes high-pressure situations.\nCompliance and Regulations:\nEnsure all financing and sales practices comply with federal and state regulations (e.g., Truth in Lending Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act).\nStay informed about updates to regulations and adapt processes accordingly.\nAdditional Responsibilities:\nTrain and mentor sales staff on F&I products and processes.\nMaintain strong relationships with lenders and insurance providers.\nAssist with monthly and quarterly sales reports and financial analysis (as needed).\nOther duties as assigned\nQualifications:\nDemonstrates a high “HQ” (Hospitality Quotient) consisting of kindness & optimism, intellectual curiosity, work ethic, empathy, self-awareness, and integrity.\nMinimum of 2-3 years of experience in automotive finance or a related field (e.g., banking, lending).\nStrong understanding of automotive financing principles and loan options.\nExcellent sales and negotiation skills.\nProven ability to close deals and meet sales targets.\nExceptional communication and interpersonal skills.\nProficient in computer skills and dealership management software (DMS).\nAbility to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nA valid driver's license with a clean record.\nKnowledge of F&I regulations and compliance is a plus.\nBenefits of Working at Swickard:\nCareer Path – Swickard isn’t just a J-O-B.
