The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex and/or multi-service projects for Westwood. They will ensure the successful completion of projects within scope, schedule, and budget, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality results. The Project Manager will also provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with service leads to coordinate project activities. In addition, you will provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with service leads to coordinate project activities.\r\nYour key responsibilities will include\r\nTake full accountability for multiple EV Infrastructure projects and clients at once.\r\nManage stakeholder relationships, both internal and external.\r\nCoordinate and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.\r\nDevelop and implement project plans, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.\r\nOversee project work and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations.\r\nTrack project health and take corrective action when necessary.\r\nManage uncertainty and change, such as scope creep and change orders.\r\nEnsure timely invoicing and accounts receivable collection.\r\nSupport the electrical engineering aspects of EV Charging Facilities.\r\nSupport the electrical engineering aspects of Energy Storage Projects.\r\nOversee the review of utility service/interconnection requirements for various utilities and manage the technical portions of service/interconnect applications for EV clients.\r\nCoordinate and collaborate with other project disciplines including civil engineers, geotechnical/structural engineers, and surveyors.\r\nAbility to conduct electrical engineering design and develop construction documents for EV projects.\r\nStay updated on the latest equipment and industry best practices.\r\nManages land development civil engineering projects efficiently (meets schedules and budgets)\r\nAdministers the construction services portions of projects including RFI response, site meetings with contractors, etc.\r\nRequired Experience\r\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related field.\r\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment.\r\nStrong knowledge of utility service requirements and interconnection processes.\r\nBasic understanding of electrical calculations and studies.\r\nExcellent communication and leadership skills.\r\n3-5 years of experience in a project manager or similar role\r\nStrong organizational and time management skills\r\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\r\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment\r\nProficiency in project management software and tools\r\nAttention to detail and ability to multitask\r\nProblem-solving and decision-making abilities\r\nPreferred Experience\r\nExtensive experience in electrical engineering design for EV Charging projects.\r\nExperience in the renewable energy industry.\r\nExperience in the commercial land development market.\r\nExperience managing complex and/or multi-service projects.\r\nExperience with program management.\r\nAdvanced knowledge of project financial management.\r\nExperience with contract negotiation and management.\r\nStrong leadership and mentoring skills.\r\nExcellent presentation and public speaking skills\r\nAbout Westwood Professional Services, Inc.
