This role works in close concert with Machinists, Manufacturing Engineers, Design Engineers and other Engineering teams to increase productivity and optimize machining programs and procedures.\nKey Duties:\nUse Mastercam software to quickly generate programs for 3,4, and 5-axis CNC lathes, mills, and machining centers.\nGenerate and maintain programs and setup sheets in a high mix/low volume environment.\nSelect tools for machining complex parts in steel, copper, and high nickel alloy materials.\nDefine and adjust speed and feed parameters for maximum tool life in challenging and high stakes applications.\nMake suggestions on drawing changes to improve manufacturability and CNC program strategy.\nDesign machine fixture tooling as needed.\nMeet expectations for productivity and production goals.\nProvide feedback and ideas for process improvements.\nRun machining simulations using Vericut to provide accurate run times and prevent machine collisions.\n\nRequired Skills, Experience, and Education:\nDue to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens or permanent residents are eligible for consideration at this time.\n6-10 years of CNC programming experience using Mastercam software.\nExperience programming 5 axis CNC machines.\nAbility to lift 25 lbs. unassisted.\nLifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position.\nMust be available for overtime and weekend hours.\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nDesired Skills, Experience, and Education:\nExperience using Mastercam software.\nExperience with multi axis mill and lathe CNC machines.\nExperience with Okuma, DMG Mori DMU/DMC 5-axis milling centers.\nExperience with Mazak Integrex machines.\nExperience with ERP Software.\nBusiness Profile:\nCimarron is a global solutions company with a strategic partnering approach to satisfying customer-driven requirements.
