The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with Fanuc controls and be proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers. Experience with Mori Seiki and Samsung machines will be highly regarded. Key Responsibilities:\nSet up and operate CNC machines including lathes and mills to produce precision metal parts.\nInterpret technical documents, such as diagrams, blueprints, or written instructions to set up and operate machines correctly.\nAdjust machine settings to provide the best output in terms of efficiency and quality.\nUtilize Fanuc controls to guide and control CNC machines during operations.\nMeasure and inspect completed parts to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers and calipers.\nPerform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to ensure operational efficiency.\nDocument production results and process adherence.\nWork collaboratively with the engineering and quality assurance teams to improve manufacturing processes and product quality. Shift Times:\nMonday to Friday: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM\nSaturdays: As needed Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational schooling preferred.\nProven experience as a CNC machinist with expertise in operating both lathes and mills.\nIn-depth understanding of Fanuc controls.\nProficiency in reading blueprints and precise measuring instruments.\nExperience with Mori Seiki and Samsung CNC machines is a big plus.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
