Position: Clinical Nurse - Seasonal (Flu and COVID Clinics)
Duration: October to November/December (Annually)
Location: Various sites across the State of Ohio, mostly in Columbus
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Nurse to support mass immunization clinics for a temporary period of time. This seasonal position, from October to November, involves traveling to different clinic sites and administering Flu and COVID immunizations. The role requires help setting up clinics at various locations. We are looking for candidates near or in the following areas: Akron/Youngstown, Cleveland/Richfield, Toledo/Bowling Green, Orient, Gallipolis, Cincinnati/Dayton, Richfield.
**Our scheduled clinics begin 10/1, onboarding starts week of 9/23**
Key Responsibilities:
Qualified to administer vaccinations quickly and effectively
Excel in both working with a team and/or autonomously
Have excellent customer service
Help loading and unloading of equipment and supplies at each location
Provide information and support to patients regarding vaccination procedures and post-vaccination care
Qualifications:
Education and Certification:
Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license in the state of Ohio.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
Experience in administering vaccinations, particularly flu and COVID-19 vaccines.
Skills:
Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other medical documentation systems.
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure
Job Types: PRN, Per diem, Temporary
Pay: $33.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
