Commits to deliverables and is accountable for executing projects on-time and within budget.\nCollaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals\nEstablish critical to quality process parameters and work with manufacturing to define process controls ensuring EDM processes operate at optimum performance\nEvaluate new tool capabilities and modify existing tool for new product processing to meet customer requirements\nResponsible for developing and establish process capability and process control, repeatability, and stability through SPC, engineering controls, and other effective process management methods.\nDevelop and maintain a working knowledge of the Silfex Quality Management System and properly apply Quality Procedures and Operating Procedures.\nCulture:\nDisplay a positive attitude and strong work ethic that reflects the Mission and Core Values of Silfex.\nCreate and maintain a culture where workplace safety is part of everything we do. Maintain these areas at the highest degree possible while responsibly escalating any maintenance issues.\nQualifications:\nTo perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily through knowledge, skill, and/or ability.\nBachelor’s degree in engineering with 8 years of related experience or a master’s degree with 6 years of related experience.\nExperience problem solving a complex system with a cross functional team.\nKnowledge of statistical analysis (JMP, Minitab) and problem-solving methodologies.\nIn-depth understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE).\nExperience developing control plans and procedures.\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.\nKnowledgeable of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).\nStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nKnowledge of quality assurance tools and methods utilized for manufacturing processes (DMAIC, 8D, GRR, etc.)\nExperience working in a collaborative and matrixed environment with diverse teams, semiconductor customers, and/or partners.\nAble to demonstrate analytical skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.\nExperience with machining silicon or other hard brittle materials is a plus.\nResponsible for project planning, creating budgets, and Return on Investment to ensure you meet Annual Operating Plans.
