Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments. Apply basic techniques and procedures to assigned projects.\n\nResponsibilities:\nResponsible for performing a wide variety of research and/or development laboratory tasks and experiments.\nMay make detailed observations, analyze data and interpret results.\nMaintain medical device laboratory equipment and inventory levels for laboratory supplies.\nMay write experimental reports, summaries and protocols.\nMay also develop and maintain record keeping for experiment performed.\nPerform limited troubleshooting and calibration of instruments.\nIndividuals usually are assigned routine assembly and testing portions of projects (e.g. Product performance and software script testing).\n\nQualifications:\nGood written and verbal communication skills.\nBasic computer skills such as word processing, data entry and e-mail.\nBasic science and/or math skills.\nTeam orientation.\nMechanical or Electrical background would be preferred.\nStrong documentation skills.\nFollowing procedures, but also being able to think outside the box and troubleshoot issues found.\n\nHigh School diploma or equivalent, AA Degree is strongly preferred.\nThis is a position in an R&D lab which will usually require hands on/on-site work.\n1-2 yrs of mechanical or electrical experience are strongly preferred, or engineering grads with some intern experience.\nNormal basic computer skills.\n\nTop 3 must haves:\nAttention to detail.\nExperience with technical documentation.\nAbility to work on a team.\n\nTop Technical skills needed:\nTroubleshooting using basic lab equipment such as scopes.\nMeters, analytical balances.\nAbility to understand technical schematics and specifications.\nStrong computer experience with Microsoft tools, and statistical tools.\n\nListed salary ranges may vary based on experience, qualifications, and local market.
