Art Teacher K-12

Spring Vale Christian School is seeking to hire a part-time Art teacher on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the 2024-2025 school year. This position should have classroom experience, organizational skills, and aptitude for managing a classroom. More importantly the teacher should have a love for God and serving Him wholeheartedly, love for children, and love for learning. Responsibilities of the teacher include but are not limited to: Using innovative and varied methods in teaching Art. Creating an orderly learning environment by maintaining a clean classroom. Create weekly lesson plans Keep timely grade records of student work General Statement of Duties: Be knowledgeable in the subject of Art, create an atmosphere encouraging eager learning, be an example and role model of Christian living both in and out of the classroom. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 per week Benefits: Paid time off Professional development assistance Physical Setting: Religious school Work Location: In person
