Our mission supports the Government Corporate Management Services (CMS) by providing full life cycle support services through the sustainment, modernization, and transformation of the enterprise corporate applications. These applications are used across the government enterprise and are critical to the daily functions of thousands of users across acquisition, business, finance, HR, training, recruitment, program management, security, logistics and more. Come join our diverse and growing team with lots of opportunities!\nThe selected candidate will join an existing team providing Life Cycle Sustainment (LCS) activities for commercial and custom-developed education, learning, and training applications. The role requires a self-motivated individual that is comfortable working in a team environment. This position will require working on a fast-paced team and a willingness to take on challenges.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nPerform database patching and vulnerability remediation in alignment with IAVA requirements, including compliance reporting across enterprise database systems.\nMaintain and administer Microsoft SQL Server environments (various versions) across on-premises and cloud-based infrastructures.\nProvide troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational support for database systems, including performance tuning, query optimization, and issue resolution.\nExecute database patching, upgrades, backups, restores, and routine maintenance to ensure data integrity, availability, and system reliability.\nImplement and manage database security, including user access controls, roles, permissions, and encryption standards.\nUtilize T-SQL and PowerShell scripting for automation of database administration, monitoring, and reporting tasks.\nLeverage AWS services, including RDS, EC2, Lambda, and CloudFormation, to deploy, manage, and optimize cloud-hosted database solutions.\nSupport infrastructure as code initiatives using Ansible and Terraform for database provisioning, configuration management, and automation.\nDevelop and maintain database automation scripts and monitoring tools to streamline operations and improve performance and uptime.\nRequired Qualifications:\nActive TS/SCI with Polygraph\nA bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and ten (10) years of experience as a DBA. Fourteen (14) years of experience as a DBA may be substituted in lieu of a degree\nProficiency in managing SQL Server Databases\nMust be able to work during core hours of M-F 10am-2pm. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis\nDesired:\nDoD 8570 compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I\nExperience with PowerShell scripting language\nExperience in SharePoint migrations\nAbility to clearly communicate ambiguous or highly complex concepts to all audiences\nThe estimated salary range for this position is between $160,000-$190,000 (annualized USD). This range reflects the typical pay for the role and is one part of the company's comprehensive compensation package.
