Anime/Pop-Culture Convention OTR Truck Driver (contract)

If you answered "yes" to all of these, then this job might be for you! V1 Tech brings together anime, pop culture and gaming to create plexi-glass wall art and modified PC parts for our customers. We are looking for supportive, collaborative individuals to help lay the roots for our rapidly growing startup! V1 Tech is seeking an experienced commercial driver, both CDL and non-CDL, to help bring our product to various conventions nationwide! We haul high quality plexi-glass wall art and other products across long-distance/interstate drives and are seeking independent contractors to facilitate these moves! Each trip will utilize 26' box trucks and can last anywhere from 4-6 days at a time. Experience: Commercial driving experience (2 years) Box truck (16' - 26') Requirements: Class C (required) CDL (optional) Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs unassisted Must be able to pass a drug test Must be able to spend 3-8 days on the road consecutively Follow itinerary & be timely Responsibilities: Safely load and unload product onto box truck, manually and with pallet jacks Safely operate trucks up to 26' and drive long distances Assist with booth set up and breakdown for each conventions Act as an on-call sales person during conventions when necessary Communicate issues to customers and management as needed Preferred: Strong customer service skills Past Sales experience A successful candidate will be travel to major cities regularly, assist in booth set up and breakdown, and represent the company as a vendor in between trips. The ideal candidate will have both driving and sales/customer service experience!
