Job Requirements Walk In Interviews Accepted: THURSDAY January 29TH 09:00 AM - 11:00 AM Location: 2525 Midpoint Drive, Edwardsville, KS 66111 Hours Depending on Assignment, all shifts are available For Questions: nurias@varsitybrands.com Pay: $18.50 - $22.50 per hour depending on experience. WHAT YOU WILL DO As a member of the Varsity Kansas City Yearbook team, the GENERAL LABOR CANDIDATES will be responsible for assisting in basic YEARBOOK PRODUCTION. WHAT YOU'LL DO ON A DAILY BASIS: Locates and loads paper in presses. Bring plate carts to press room and files plates in the appropriate racks. Take jobs to the press. Locates and pulls plates for the jobs at press. Mixes fountain solutions and keeps tanks full. Keeps the chemical cans and bottles at press full Maintains responsibility for the proper storage in and housekeeping of the chemical storage room. Bring press supplies to the Press Operator as needed. Washes up the presses in the absence of the Press Operator. Operates the forklift, power jack and hand jacks. Maintains responsibility for the general housekeeping of the press room. Assist the Press Operator in any needed job functions on the presses Work Experience QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Proof of Work Eligibility in the United States High school Diploma or GED preferred but not required. 1-3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to work all hours needed including overtime Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written or oral instructions Ability to stand for long periods of time.
