This position will be an onsite role based out of our Fremont, CA, West Coast office.\n\nWHAT YOU'LL DO:\n\nGather requirements, write requirement specification, and review spec with project team.\n\nPropose design, write design specification, and review design with peers.\n\nImplement the design with the project’s chosen programming language(s) such as C#, Python.\n\nReview code with peer software engineers.\n\nDesign and develop test cases for testing software.\n\nIntegrate developed software components into system.\n\nWork with project team in testing, and in debugging system integration issues.\n\nWrite release notes and application notes on new software features.\n\nSupport customer adoption of software.\n\nFollow company’s software development process and product development process.\n\nWHAT YOU'LL BRING:\n\nBachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience OR a minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience.\n\nProfessional software design experience on 2 projects.\n\n1 year of professional software programming experience using C#.\n\n1 year of professional software programming experience using Python.\n\nKnowledge of United Modeling Language (UML) in Object Oriented Analysis & Design.\n\nExperience in multi-threaded programming.\n\nExperience in network socket programming.\n\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\n\nWork Location & Flexibility\nAt Brooks, we aim to foster a collaborative and engaging environment while offering flexibility where possible.
