Project Manager
Description & Details:
The project manager supports the Marketing and Communications mission by contributing to and prioritizing projects that affect institutional goals. They will meet with clients to evaluate their goals and requests and serve as liaison between clients and the creative team to collect information, copy edit and proofread content and ensure timely completion of projects.
Work Schedule
Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; holidays and breaks 7:30am-4:00pm
Hiring Range
$53,000+depending on experience
Pay is based on several factors, including budget, labor market, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and/or certification and other business considerations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communication or relevant field
2-5 years recent, relevant work experience in project management
Experience proofreading AP style grammar and writing
Experience providing quotes or bids for client requests
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with writing
Project management experience
Experience with project management tools, Trello, Basecamp, etc.
Experience in a higher education work environment
Core Competencies
Demonstrated understanding of grammar and AP style for proofreading
Demonstrated ability to work with a team
High degree of attention to detail
Superior interpersonal skills and ability to create a rapport with people
Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
Excellent organizational skills
