This position is based at the company's headquarters in Waltham, MA, transitioning to a new headquarters location in Newton, MA in Summer 2026.\r\nResponsibilities Scale Global Partner's ability to democratize data by leveraging a Modern Data Stack (Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Databricks, Census, Dagster, etc).\r\nDesign and maintain analysis and data systems, ensuring data accuracy and regular updates.\r\nGenerate insightful business reports and utilize data tools to create pivot tables, graphs, charts, and visualizations.\r\nOwn data visualizations and pipelines to identify and rectify inconsistencies; monitor changes in performance and trends.\r\nCollaborate with departments, engineers, and data scientists to align on data needs and strategies, ensuring the long-term efficiency and scalability of the Data Platform and Analytics Center of Excellence.\r\nConceptualize and implement data architecture for projects, evaluating design and operational trade-offs.\r\nDefine data assets, data integrations, and quality frameworks; evaluate tools for data lineage and address data quality issues.\r\nWork on business-critical data integration and reporting pipelines, optimizing ETL patterns and sourcing from diverse data sources.\r\nDefine and manage SLAs for datasets, ensuring data security and compliance based on privacy requirements.\r\nDesign and launch sophisticated data models and visualizations across products or domains.\r\nResearch new technologies, develop best practices, and deliver transformed, tested, and well-documented data sets for internal consumers.\r\nQualifications 3-5+ years of SQL expertise (No-SQL is a plus), with a strong understanding of analytics-driven schema design and data modeling.\r\nExperience with modern data stack tools such as Snowflake, dbt, Databricks, Fivetran, AWS, Git, Census, Dagster/Airflow.\r\nSome experience in Python, R, or other object-oriented programming languages.\r\nKnowledge of orchestration and automation tools such as Dagster or Airflow.\r\nEstablished skill in designing analytical data layers and ETL to facilitate accurate and timely insights.\r\nMastery in crafting visual analytics reports using BI tools such as Tableau or Looker.\r\n3+ years as an analytics engineer, with an educational background in computer science, mathematics, engineering, physics, finance, or related fields.\r\nStrong communicator with a knack for extracting actionable insights, mentoring on analytics best practices, and nurturing team relationships.\r\nExperience leveraging technical know-how to amplify data's analytical value, encompassing data modeling, access, and storage methodologies.\r\nAbility to strategically align analytics initiatives with overarching product goals and highlight data-driven opportunities (Data as a Product mindset).\r\nSome experience with AWS/Cloud platforms, emphasizing analytics tooling and systems integration is a big plus.\r\nBachelor's degree.\r\nBenefits Competitive salaries and opportunities for growth.\r\nTalent development training programs.\r\nHealth & Wellness benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, plus additional wellness support.\r\n401(k) with company match.\r\nProfessional development: Tuition reimbursement available after 6 months of service.\r\nComprehensive benefits package as outlined in the employment offer.\r\nEEO Statement Global Partners LP is an equal-opportunity employer.
