Come join us and help us build The DNA of tech.™Key ResponsibilitiesPerforms a wide variety of electronic/ mechanical assembly operations on production lines using the various processes of assembling, winding, soldering, potting, testing, and component inspectionProvides daily input into applicable databaseReads and follows work instructions to correctly position and algin partsParticipation in continuous improvement and 5SOther duties as assignedPreparing and transporting raw materials, parts and semi-products according to defined procedures, to ensure efficient and seamless production between different lines or plants at one siteEnsuring the appropriate documentation of tasks in the systemsUtilizing specialized moving devices in plants, as neededMonitors and audits production processes, quality, and safety issuesAnalysis and follows production backlogRequired Skills & AbilitiesAbility to read and follow work instructionsAbility to use hand tools, power tools, and automated manufacturing or robotics equipmentInspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure they meet strict specifications, measurements, and tolerance limits.Education & ExperienceNo education required, but preferredAbility to meet Vishay’s attendance policy (2% absenteeism rate or less annually)Ability to use a microscope for 8 hours dailyAbility to do repetitive tasks that require the use of various defined proceduresAbility to work in a team environment and independently while maintaining a good working relationship with coworkers & supervisorsPhysical & Mental RequirementsAttention to detail, teamwork, and interpersonal skillsGreat hand dexterityAbility to contribute to quality objectivesProvide products and services that exceed customer expectationsObeys all work rules and Environmental, Health and Safety regulations as valid for the work tasks assignedThis position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations.
