This position is located at the Silver Spring Customer Service Center.\n\nExamples of Duties:\nSchedule and monitor client/ applicant correspondence\nAssign and disseminate incoming correspondence\nPerform data entry and general clerical tasks such as distribution of mail\nSchedule informal hearings\nProcess weekly/monthly reports\nTrack appointments and other project tasks\nWork in various databases including Excel, PowerPoint and Word\nPerform other duties as assigned\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nExperience\nAt least two (2) years administrative or clerical experience\n\nEducation:\nRequires a High School Diploma or Equivalent\n\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities\nGood interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills\nMust have excellent written and oral communication skills\nMust be able to prioritize assignments to meet deadlines and be dependable\nMust possess excellent written & oral communication skills\nMust have the ability to maintain excellent customer service techniques and attitude is required\nMust have basic computer skills including proficiency with MS Office Suite\nWork Schedule/Location\nWork Schedule is in office Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5PM.\nTelework is not provided for temporary employees; however, limited telework may be provided at the sole discretion of the direct supervisor.\nParking costs are the responsibility of the selected candidate and not reimbursed through HOC.\n\n*Salary determined by departmental budget - Offer commensurate with experience. *\nHOC is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
