CFCE is constantly evolving to better support our community.The Residential Advisor on Duty is responsible for overseeing residential operations during the overnight shift in a group home for at-risk youth. This role ensures the safety, supervision, and well-being of all youth and staff while providing guidance and support to program staff in implementing individualized care plans. The RAOD reports directly to Supervisors.Why join CFCE:Great benefits package, including a Zero (0) cost out of pocket medical plan, 13 Paid Holidays and a competitive Paid Time Off PackageMaking an invaluable impact in your communityGrowth and professional development opportunities availableQualify for Public Service Loan ForgivenessWe are a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue CodeSome of the Functions Include:Monitor and review incidents occurring during the shift and promptly notify Supervisors.Oversee staff scheduling and coordinate coverage to ensure proper supervision across all residential areas.Provide vigilant supervision of youth throughout the overnight shift, ensuring safety, adherence to program rules, and a positive environment.Foster collaboration with other departments to implement safety measures and uphold the facility’s standards for youth care.Support program staff in applying the Individualized Solution Process (ISP) to address youth needs, challenges, and developmental goals.Serve as a point of guidance for staff during the shift, offering mentorship, conflict resolution, and operational direction.Minimum EducationBachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field requiredMinimum of 2 years’ experience working directly with youth, preferably in residential or group home settingIf Associates degree, in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or a related fieldAt least 3 years’ experience with at-risk youth in a residential settingExperience working with at-risk youth preferred.Skills NeededStrong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to incidents.Team collaboration and conflict resolutionCritical thinking and problem-solvingAdaptability and decision-making in dynamic situationsProfessionalism, accountability, and ethical conductCFCE is a Drug Free Workplace and an Equal Opportunity Employer.
