What’s yours?\nPosition Overview\nThe Division Controller is responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial reportingactivities for the entities under the division. This role serves as a key financial leader, ensuringcompliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX requirements, and internal control standards. The DivisionController manages the month-end close process, leads financial analysis, and overseas theoutsourced accounting resources (Genpact) to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant reporting.This position reports directly to the Regional Controller.\nWhat you'll do\nLead and coordinate the monthly close process for all division entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.\nReview and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and other close activities.\nEnsure adherence to U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting policies.\nManage and review intercompany transactions, eliminations, and reconciliations.\nPrepare and review monthly financial statement packages, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow.\nPerform detailed flux analysis to identify and explain significant variances\nEnsure compliance with SOX requirements, maintaining strong internal control processes.\nSupport internal (SOX) and external audits, including providing documentation and responding to audit inquiries.\nMaintain and enforce accounting procedures and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.\nManage and oversee day-to-day activities of the outsourced accounting team (Genpact).\nReview deliverables from the outsourced team to ensure accuracy and compliance.\nProvide guidance, training, and support to ensure performance expectations are met.\nAct as the main point of contact for outsourced team escalations and workflow optimization.\nAct as a financial business partner to divisional leadership, providing insights and support for decision-making.\nCollaborate with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and other corporate functions to align on financial processes and objectives.\nParticipate in system implementations, process improvement initiatives, and other cross-functional projects.\nAll other duties as assigned\nWho you are\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.\n3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a controller or assistant controller role.\nStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and SOX compliance.\nExperience managing outsourced or offshore accounting teams.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nProficiency in ERP systems (E-Pic is a plus)\nStrong advanced Excel skills.\nExperience working in a multi-entity environment is a plus.\nDetail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.\nAble to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment\nWhat's in it for you?\nAnnual base salary range: $130- $160k\nBonus target range: 25-35%\nA company culture that prioritizes internal development and professional growth\nTime off with pay\n401(k) plan with a degree of employer matching\nPaid parental leave\nWellness programs and product discounts\nPlease note, all offers presented to candidates are carefully crafted to ensure market competitiveness, equity, and reflect the individual candidate’s education, experience, skills and potential.Hunter Douglas is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with applicable employment laws.
