Machinist - 10 hr shift

Molded Dimensions is growing our inhouse Machine Shop, and we are looking for a Machinist to help us continue that growth.We are currently looking for a 1st Shift Machinist. Shift Hours are 6am-4pm, Monday-Thursday, overtime on Fridays if needed.The Machinist will have responsibility to set up and run multiple machines including mills, lathes, drills, and hand tools. Analyze drawings and specifications to determine most efficient set-up and use of tools. Program using machine language, adjust tool paths and changes. Maintain and update all records for setups and inspections. Be able to select proper inserts, tooling, and sharpen tools. Must perform first part inspection. Work with lead person and engineer as needed.Preferred Experience:2-year Machine Tool Degree.3 years CNC experience.Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentMust be able to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, process sheets, policies and procedures and safety rulesCapable of lifting 50 poundsWorking knowledge of shop mathematics and ability to accurately use measurement tools and equipment is necessary.Self-motivated, problem solver who will maintain a positive working relationship with team membersExcellent attendance recordWhat We Offer:4-day work weeks$25-33/hr. depending on experienceMedical, dental, vision, life insurance, short/long term disability, critical, accident401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysOn the spot interviewing 8am-3pm Monday-Thursday!
