Field Automation Specialist I
About The RoleAlbireo Energy is looking for a Field Automation Specialist I & II's to perform device checkout, network verification, and commissioning support on data center automation projects. You'll work with increasing independence alongside experienced technicians and engineers on some of the most demanding construction projects in the market.Why Albireo EnergyGreat place to grow. You'll work alongside senior technicians who are invested in your development.What You'll DoPerform point-to-point device checkout and I/O verificationVerify communications networks including BACnet, Modbus, and Ethernet/IPSupport commissioning testing and system startup activities alongside engineersCoordinate with other trades to support project objectivesMaintain field markups of as-built drawings and submit accurate daily reportsCommunicate proactively with senior technicians regarding technical issuesComplete assigned OEM and internal training as part of your career growth planTechnology You'll Work WithRockwell Studio 5000 Ignition SCADA BACnet IP/MSTPModbus TCP/IP OPC UA CRAH / CRAC Systems UPS / EPMSRequirements5+ years of experience in BMS, EPMS, controls, or industrial automation. Strong technical expertise in HVAC controls, electrical power monitoring, and system integration. Hands-on experience with PLC-based automation and enterprise BMS/EPMS platforms. Proven experience supporting data center construction or mission-critical environments. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-project field environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Preferred QualificationsExperience with any PLC Vendors, Rockwell / Ignition preferred. Exposure to IST, advanced commissioning, and live data center cutovers. Working knowledge of networking infrastructure (VLANs, switches, fiber/copper). Experience with energy-efficient control strategies and advanced operational processes. Salary Range: $60K-95K/yr.
