Join our team.\nAbout the Role\nIn this role, you’ll support inventory integrity and operational accuracy within a fast‑paced distribution center environment. You’ll execute and coordinate inventory control activities, investigate discrepancies, and partner closely with Operations, Inventory, and leadership teams to ensure the accurate flow of merchandise through the DC in support of our customers.\nThis is a hands on, warehouse based role that requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs while working closely with others.\nWhat You'll Do\nExecute daily inventory control activities, including cycle counts and accuracy‑based inventory audits, to ensure system and physical inventory alignment\nInvestigate inventory discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, and support corrective actions to prevent recurrence\nCoordinate daily work activities within the inventory team to maintain productivity, accuracy, and service level expectations\nDevelop workflow plans and recommendations, gather input from leadership and cross functional partners, and implement approved process changes to support daily execution.\nServe as a liaison between Inventory, Operations, and leadership teams by clearly communicating data, findings, and action plans\nMonitor, research, and support correction of warehouse inventory transactions using inventory management systems\nDocument findings, audit results, and corrective actions to support operational and financial reporting needs\nWho You Are\nAbility to exercise independent judgment and make decisions based on multiple data points\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and identify root causes\nEffective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and partner across teams\nStrong time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment\nAbility to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift\nWillingness to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift); training provided\nBenefits at Gap Inc.\nMerchandise discount for our brands: 50% off regular-priced merchandise at Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic and Athleta, and 30% off at Outlet for all employees.\nOne of the most competitive Paid Time Off plans in the industry.*\nEmployees can take up to five “on the clock” hours each month to volunteer at a charity of their choice.*\nExtensive 401(k) plan with company matching for contributions up to four percent of an employee’s base pay.*\nEmployee stock purchase plan.*\nMedical, dental, vision and life insurance.*\nSee more of the benefits we offer.\nFor eligible employees\nGap Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer and is committed to providing a workplace free from harassment and discrimination.
