Where necessary, this role will innovate new automation solutions\n\nJOB DESCRIPTION\n\nDevelop PLC, Servo, HMI, Robotics programs utilizing available software platforms.\nConfer with engineering personnel to prepare software modifications as required\nInterpret technical specifications and application parameters\nAssist in the commissioning of new machines on the shop floor\nAssist in the machine start-up at customer sites\nPerform software modifications to existing machines\nAssist installation team during install and commissioning of new machines\nPartner with all other departments as needed\nDesign electrical control panels, machine wiring systems, power distribution, and control architectures that meet applicable UL, NEC, NFPA 79, NEMA, and CE requirements.\n-Create and maintain complete bills of material, electrical documentation, software backups, and engineering change records.\nCreate, review, and release accurate electrical schematics, panel layouts, technical drawings, and specifications using AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent software.\n\n JOB REQUIREMENTS\n\nB.S. in E.E. or applicable education and experience\nAbility to work to technical specifications, schedule and budget constraints\nDemonstrated understanding of engineering theories and principles\nGeneral understanding of automation including industrial machines and robotics\nGeneral understanding of electrical wiring diagrams\nExperience in packaging industry preferred\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nGood computer skills (MS Office, ERP Systems, CAD)\nAllen Bradley RS Logix 5000PLC programming knowledge\nAllen Bradley Factory Talk programming knowledge\nAllen Bradley Servo Control experience preferred\nKnowledge of Beckoff Twincat and Siemens a plus\nAbility to maintain confidentiality\nAbility to work in team environment\nStrong problem identification and resolution skills\nEffective attention to detail, high degree of accuracy\nStrong customer service focus\nSound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization and execution skills\nEmployee must be willing and able to fly.
