This person reports to and is under the general direction of the Plant Operations Manager. The position is responsible for the plant project and procedures, training when required, improving ergonomics, and maximizing the efficiency of the facility.\nRequirements\nEngineering/technical degree or equivalent experience\n5+ years or equivalent in related field is preferred\nKnowledge of hazard communication standards, PSM, NFPA, OSHA, and EPA regulations as they pertain to solvent extraction plant operations\nKnowledge of industry regulations and guidelines.\nKnowledge of inventory control techniques\nExperience supervising others or knowledge of supervisory techniques\nStrong problem solving and cognitive thinking skills along with ability to make sound decisions using information on hand\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to always maintain professionalism with diverse internal and external customers\nProven ability to maintain high level of organization and attention to detail\nAg Processing Inc is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-Verify.\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nDirectly responsible for project development and completion including project PAR/Tech VAP write-up procedures, obtaining project bids, organizing schedule of values, budgets, writing contracts, project scheduling, tracking insurance accords, lien waivers, performance bonds, retainage forms, and change orders.\nMonitor and maintain records for inspections\nWork closely and communicate with all departments to coordinate project activities\nCover “on call” rotation\nProject management\nAssist in developing the Capital and Business Plans\nAg Processing Inc. is a cooperatively-owned agribusiness engaged in procuring, processing, marketing, and transporting of oilseeds, grains, and related products.
