We currently employ over 1,800 employees company wide and over the years have expanded throughout the Midwest.\r\nThe Data Entry department will accurately input data into a billing system for accounts receivable purposes and assist customers in our walk-in counter.\r\nMonday-Friday, 7:00AM-4:00PM\r\n$18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience\r\nPrepare and open walk-in counter daily\r\nGreet and assist customers with parcels for shipment\r\nUtilize hand-held pad to enter packages for pick up or inbound scans\r\nAccurately enter package information into billing system using the 10-key portion of a keyboard as well as a desk top scanner\r\nInteract with customers via telephone and email regarding questions concerning their daily shipping paperwork\r\nBalance and count cash drawer daily\r\nSort billing sheets into numerical order\r\nPerform other related duties as assigned\r\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\r\nAttention to detail and accuracy\r\nWork requires basic computer knowledge and customer service skills\r\nAt least 18 years of age\r\nHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred\r\nClerical or administrative experience preferred\r\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and answering the phone\r\nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times\r\nAbility to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals\r\nHealth Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), Employee Assistance Program, 401(k) Plan, Quarterly Bonuses, and more.\r\nSpee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
