This role leverages Python, SQL, ETL technologies, and data modeling expertise to transform, validate, and optimize data workflows. The Data Implementation Engineer partners with Operations, Workflow, Technical Support, and Account Management teams to support client implementations, scalable data architecture, and ongoing data quality across systems.\n\nTitle: Data Implementation Engineer\nLocation: Remote – United States\nSchedule: Full-time\nDepartment: Product Implementation\nCompensation: $80,000 – $95,000\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDevelop and maintain Python-based scripts, utilities, and automation solutions to support data integration, transformation, validation, and reporting\nDesign, develop, and maintain logical and physical data models that support scalable data integration and reporting requirements\nAnalyze source system data structures and translate business requirements into efficient data models and database schemas\nBuild, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and data transformation processes\nConfigure and maintain ETL processes across multiple structured and unstructured data sources\nSupport data warehouse development and ongoing improvements to data architecture and performance\nEnsure ongoing data integrity, quality, and governance across client implementations and internal systems\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\nBachelor's degree in Mathematics, MIS, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience\n3+ years of experience designing and supporting ETL processes across complex data environments\n2+ years of professional experience developing solutions using Python\nStrong experience with SQL and relational database systems such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar platforms\nExperience designing and maintaining logical and physical data models\nExperience with data transformation, mapping, and integration processes\nExperience working with ETL tools such as Talend Data Integration or similar technologies\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\nExperience developing Python-based data pipelines and automation solutions\nExperience working with Snowflake and AWS environments\nExperience with dimensional modeling, star schemas, and data warehouse design\nExperience with Revenue Cycle Management, EDI, X12, or patient accounting systems\nKnowledge of claims and billing processes within healthcare environments\nFamiliarity with modern data architecture and cloud-based analytics platforms\n\nEmployment eligibility:\n\n Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire\nThe company does not provide employment visa sponsorship for this position\nAs a condition of employment, a pre-employment background check will be conducted\nAt this time, we are unable to consider candidates residing in the state of New York for this position\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\nComprehensive paid training\nMedical, dental, and vision insurance\nHSA and FSA available\n401(k) with company match\nPaid Wellness Time and Holidays\nEmployer paid life insurance and long-term disability\nInternal growth opportunities\n\nMeduit is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
