This role plays a key part in supporting infrastructure operations and ensuring smooth transitions from development to production environments.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain Linux-based servers and system infrastructureProvision hardware, storage, and system services based on project and operational needsMonitor system performance, availability, and security through regular checks and logsTroubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issuesSupport internal teams by addressing technical concerns and operational challengesPerform system upgrades, performance tuning, and resource optimizationDevelop and maintain documentation for system configurations and proceduresAutomate routine system administration tasks where possibleCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project deliveryParticipate in on-call or after-hours support as neededRequired SkillsStrong Linux system administration experienceExperience with hardware setup, configuration, and debuggingProficiency in Python programming (scripting and basic application updates)Solid understanding of system monitoring, logging, and troubleshootingAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyPreferred QualificationsPython experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)Experience working in mixed Linux/Windows environmentsFamiliarity with automation and system optimization techniquesEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, IT)2–3 years of system administration experience (Linux and Windows)Proven ability to troubleshoot complex OS and network connectivity issuesStrong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholdersAdditional RequirementsAbility to occasionally work evenings or weekends to support global teamsComfortable working fully onsite in San Jose, CA
