Working with our Founding Mobile Architect, you'll help shape a growing mobile product while delivering features that reach users across the country.\n\nLocation: Remote (West Coast Hours)\n\nTarget Hiring Range: $85,000–$115,000\n\nWhat You'll Do\n\nBuild and deliver responsive, mobile features using React Native, TypeScript, and Expo Router.\nTransform existing MyDriveway web experiences into seamless native mobile interactions.\nIntegrate mobile applications with Azure-based APIs and enterprise platforms to support real-world customer journeys.\nImplement scalable state management solutions and efficient client-side data handling.\nTroubleshoot cross-platform challenges, optimize performance, and ensure a consistent experience across iOS and Android devices.\nCollaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, QA Engineers, and fellow developers in an agile, sprint-based environment.\nContribute to the growth and evolution of our mobile engineering practices as the platform continues to expand.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n\n2+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years building applications in React Native.\nStrong proficiency with TypeScript, React Hooks, and modern component architecture.\nExperience working with Expo and modern mobile development workflows.\nFamiliarity with state management tools such as Redux Toolkit or Zustand.\nExperience consuming RESTful APIs and working with tools like Axios or React Query.\nComfortable building responsive layouts and creating exceptional user experiences across phones and tablets.\nA passion for learning, collaboration, and building customer-focused products.\n\nTotal Rewards\n\nAt Lithia & Driveway, we believe in pay transparency. The full compensation range for this position is $85,000–$120,000, reflecting the earning potential and growth opportunities available within the role. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, job-related knowledge, and geographic location.
