Taproom Manager
Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Taproom Manager to lead our taproom operations with enthusiasm and expertise. In this role, you will oversee daily service, staff management, inventory control, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Your leadership will drive team performance, maintain food and beverage quality standards, and foster a welcoming environment for guests. Responsibilities
Manage daily taproom operations, including service flow, food preparation, and beverage offerings, ensuring efficiency and quality.
Supervise and train staff on food handling, POS systems (Toast), customer service, and safety protocols to uphold high standards.
Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile registers at shift end.
Lead staff scheduling, shift management, and team training to foster a motivated and well-informed team.
Enforce food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations across all operations.
Conduct performance evaluations, assist with interviewing candidates, and support staff development initiatives.
Analyze profit and loss reports to identify opportunities for growth and cost savings while maintaining excellent customer service.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and managing fast-paced restaurant or bar environments.
Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; proficient in basic math for cash handling and inventory calculations.
Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising hospitality teams with a focus on team management and staff training.
Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks including interviewing, coaching, and managing hospitality teams.
Deep understanding of food safety management practices along with food handling expertise.
Experience in restaurant management roles within casual dining or bar settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
Ability to manage kitchen operations alongside front-of-house responsibilities while maintaining high standards of customer service.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
