Candidates must be located in or near Miami, Florida.\r\nThe project\r\nTECKpert seeks to hire a Full Stack Software Developer to support our client, a public school district in Miami-Dade County, FL. The role supports modernization of a Student Information System for a large public school district. The developer will work as a technical expert across multiple platforms, designing and delivering enterprise-grade application and custom integration solutions, contributing to long-term IT strategy, and mentoring more junior technical staff. The work spans the full lifecycle of custom software development with a strong DevOps orientation.\r\nJob duties include, but are not limited to:\r\nProvide design recommendations based on long-term IT organization strategy.\r\nDevelop enterprise-level application and custom integration solutions, including major enhancements, interfaces, functions, and features.\r\nUse a variety of platforms to deliver automated systems applications to internal customers.\r\nProvide expertise on integration of applications across the business.\r\nDetermine specifications, then plan, design, and develop the most complex and business-critical software solutions.\r\nAssist with the most difficult support problems and triage.\r\nDevelop programming and development standards, procedures, and architectures for code reuse.\r\nApply in-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art programming languages and object-oriented approaches.\r\nResearch and maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and their potential application to the business.\r\nAct as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent across technical disciplines.\r\nCompensation and Term\r\nThis opportunity is for a full-time position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $150,000 per year. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.\r\nCandidates are expected to work onsite at our client's location.\r\nQualifications you need\r\nA successful candidate possesses or provides the following\r\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's Degree preferred.
