Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and direct the maintenance team in daily operations and project execution. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to optimize equipment uptime and longevity. Manage departmental budget, including spare parts inventory, labor costs, and external services. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency and reduce operational costs. Collaborate with production management to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption to manufacturing. Recruit, train, and mentor maintenance personnel, fostering a culture of skill development and safety. Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience. 7+ years of progressive experience in maintenance leadership within a manufacturing environment. Proven experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and other maintenance planning tools. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation. In-depth knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA) and best practices for industrial environments.
