This position will be involved in several areas of Human Resources, including but not limited to employee relations, compensation, benefits, training, recruitment support, HRIS/payroll transactions, and policy/procedural administration.\r\nIN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:\r\n\r\nManage the employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation, entrance/exit interviews, I-9 processing, and other required documentation.\r\nServe as a point of contact with employee questions and concerns; help resolve workplace issues in partnership with HR leadership.\r\nProvide administrative support for employee relations, including initial investigation, documentation, and escalation (if applicable).\r\nCommunicate policy updates and monitor compliance with procedures.\r\nPrepare and communicate personnel action forms for employee life cycle transactions within the HRIS system (new hires, pay rate changes, status changes, etc.).\r\nAct as first-line support for employees on HRIS and payroll questions, including system navigation, troubleshooting, etc.\r\nSupport basic benefits administration, including answering employee questions and escalating if further support is needed.\r\nMonitor and maintain compliance with employment laws and company policies, including I-9s, required postings, and more.\r\nAssist with various HR reporting including headcount, turnover, and other key metrics to support decision-making.\r\nCoordinate training session logistics for employees and managers.\r\nHelp with projects including but not limited to: benefits open enrollment, recruiting events/career fairs, HR process improvements, and company-wide events.\r\nSupport employee communication around engagement and recognition initiatives.\r\n\r\nYOU'LL BRING:\r\n\r\nBachelor's degree preferred.\r\n1 - 2 years of HR experience desired.\r\nWillingness to travel to our facilities in New England.\r\nKeen attention to detail and accuracy in work product.\r\nStrong interest in working with people and providing excellent service.\r\nCareer focused with a willingness to take on new challenges.\r\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\r\nCapable of holding the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.\r\n\r\nWHERE YOU'LL WORK:\r\n\r\nOur state-of-the-art facility is located in the charming town of Gorham, ME, known for its natural beauty and friendly community.
