The 350 SWG is the technical focal point for all electronic warfare (EW) support of warfighter systems for the Combat Air Forces (CAF) fighter, bomber, airborne surveillance and helicopter platforms.\nEssential Job Functions:\nThe mission of the 350 SWG is to develop and test mission data (MD) to identify and/or defeat enemy radar and infrared guided missile systems, thus enhancing aircrew and aircraft survivability in combat.\nThis mission includes operational EW testing, MD development/validation/verification, force development evaluation execution and facilitating foreign materiel exploitation.\nConducts EW research, MD development and MD testing. Supports EW system programming/reprogramming, works with EW system engineers to coordinate programming/reprogramming requirements, prepares validation and verification test plans, participates in ground and flight-testing, and organizes and participates in MD configuration control boards.\nThe successful candidate will assist with the collection, recording, and post-test analysis of data generated during MD testing.\nGather, interpret, and program emitter definitions for LO aircraft using robust software database suites referencing applicable intel sources.\nAnalyze EW threat waveform and reprogram via design, develop, maintain, and test of parametric data into mission data file (MDF) utilizing various software tools.\nConduct validation & verification of MDF via characterization, correlation, compatibility testing using software-in-the-loop (SITL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HITL).\nCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure mission data design, development, and testing meets customer requirements.\n\nRequired Skills:\nDue to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.\nBachelors degree in Engineering, computer science, a related field, like math, or science plus 5 years of experience.\nActive Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.\nDemonstrated ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations.\nAble to manage multiple Areas of Interest for mission data. Can prioritize multiple emitter assignments to maintain products up to date.\nProviding engineering and analysis in the following activities: developing and updating threat databases using Electronic Warfare Integrated Reprogramming (EWIR) tools, conducting, and reporting performance characterization assessments (PCAs); designing and using computer-based tools to flag and extract threat system parametric for analyses; generating optimized EW MD software files; developing and using software simulations and EW laboratory facilities to verify and validate MD prior to fielding; and performing rapid reprogramming of fielded MD in response to adversary threat changes.\nWorking knowledge of computer systems and an understanding of Windows-based personal computers and Microsoft Office software and possess the ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.\nProvide training to new staff to enable them to contribute to the mission.\nRequired to travel.\nDesired Skills:\nKnowledge of EW weapons systems development, test and evaluation, and systems engineering.\nKnowledge of Department of Defense (DOD) test and evaluation methodologies.\nKnowledge of various blue/grey and red threat systems and associated platforms.\nPrevious experience entering and updating, maintaining, and extracting data from source databases.
