Grant reports, etc.\nAssist with the solicitation, pick up, and acknowledgement of in-kind donations.\nComplete/submit donor state tax credit applications and maintain tax credit records, as needed.\nAssist the Director of Development with the creation and implementation of the annual development plan.\nPerforms various other duties as assigned.\nRequirements:\n\nPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES\nExcellent judgement and ability to react with appropriate levels of urgency.\nUphold high levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.\nPossess a strong work ethic, a passion for our mission, the ability to innovate existing recordkeeping systems, and the ability to develop and maintain an efficient personal workflow.\nPossess a high level of cooperative spirit to work as a member of a team.\nCommunicate effectively with a diverse base of staff, donors, board members, community members, clients, etc.\nWillingness to work occasional weeknights and weekends.\nStrong writing and editing skills, with an ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner.\nSPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING\nTwo years minimum experience with professional fundraising events, donor engagement, and/or volunteer coordination.\nExperience with Donor Perfect preferred, but not required.\nREASONING ABILITY AND COMPUTER SKILLS\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.\nAbility to deal with several abstract and concrete variables.\nE-mail, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, Donor Perfect data entry\nWORK AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nWhile this position is hybrid after first 3 months of onboarding, the majority of the time this position works primarily in an office setting at the PreventEd agency location with possible travel in the community. Therefore, you must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively. The physical requirements of this job include: sitting, standing, walking, and climbing stairs on a regular basis; lifting up to 25 lbs.; pulling and /or pushing on occasion.
