This position works under moderate supervision. This role provides the opportunity to work within the Network Solutions Business Unit of Leviton Manufacturing Company Inc.\nResponsibilities:\nPerform electrical and mechanical testing on development prototypes\nAssist design engineers with development of product models, fixtures and prototypes\nProvide production sustaining support with product sample testing, troubleshooting, test fixture fabrication and maintenance\nTesting of structured cabling system components to telecommunications standards, including radio frequency test equipment operation and data collection\nAssist in the engineering lab with the maintenance and calibration of their test equipment and fixturing\nPreparing test reports, including electrical and mechanical measurements, collection and summary of data\nMaintain proper inventory of hand-tools, consumable items and components necessary to sustain operability of the laboratory\nQualifications:\nSkills – Technical\n\nAbility to work with laboratory instrumentation and field test equipment such as vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, handheld link testers, and environmental chambers\nHand tools, soldering, electronic device assembly, machine tools, low voltage electrical and structured cabling installation preferred.\nAbility to operate test equipment\nElectrical/electronic troubleshooting skills preferred\nThrough-hole and surface mount soldering skills preferred\n\nSkills - Behavioral\n\nAttention to Detail – Ensure accuracy in work product, documentation, and processes to maintain high standards\nProblem-Solver – Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions\nAdaptable – Flexible to adapt to new tasks, technologies, processes, and project requirements\nOrganizational Skills – Keep work area clean and organized to handle multiple tasks and deadlines\nEducation & Experience:\nAssociate degree (A.
