Azure Cloud Administrator (Senior-Level)Overview:The Azure Cloud Administrator is responsible for the deployment, configuration, administration, and ongoing operational support of cloud-based solutions within a Microsoft Azure environment. This role requires strong expertise in identity and access management, cloud infrastructure, and security best practices, with a focus on maintaining highly available and secure enterprise systems.Key Responsibilities:Administer and support Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, ensuring optimal performance and securityManage and maintain identity services, including Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)Deploy, configure, and support Azure AD components and related servicesProvide day-to-day operational support for cloud infrastructure and monitoring toolsImplement and manage access controls, authentication methods, and identity protection solutionsSupport cloud migrations, including on-premises to Azure and VMware to Azure transitionsMonitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvementsEnsure compliance with security frameworks, policies, and best practicesCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, security, and operations teamsCore Technical Skills & Experience:Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administrationDeep knowledge of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory (Entra ID)Hands-on experience with:Azure AD ConnectAzure AD B2B (Business-to-Business)Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR)Self-Service Group Management (SSGM)Privileged Identity Management (PIM)Group-based licensingMulti-Factor Authentication (MFA), including hardware token integrations (e.g., YubiKey)Conditional Access policiesIdentity ProtectionExperience with monitoring and recovery tools such as:Azure MonitorLog AnalyticsAzure Site RecoveryExperience with Privileged Access Workstations (PAW)Familiarity with cloud migration strategies, including VMware to AzureQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)Senior-level experience in cloud engineering, cloud administration, or network engineeringStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesPreferred Qualifications:Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305)Experience supporting enterprise or government cloud environmentsKnowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards
