Your expertise in CNC programming languages such as Mazatrol and Mastercam\nsoftware will ensure high-quality production standards are met efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing equipment, contribute to innovative fabrication projects, and uphold the highest levels of quality and safety within a fast-paced factory environment.\nDuties\nDevelop and modify CNC programs for milling machines to ensure precise machining operations.\nSet up CNC milling machines, including installing tooling, calibrating machines, and verifying machine parameters before production runs.\nOperate CNC milling machines, ensuring optimal performance while adhering to blueprint specifications, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and quality standards.\nConduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other mechanical tools to verify part dimensions and tolerances.\nRead and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication instructions to produce complex components accurately.\nMaintain a clean, organized work area; perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment; troubleshoot machine issues promptly to minimize downtime.\nCollaborate with team members on materials handling, fabrication processes, tooling selection, and assembly line integration to optimize productivity.\nExperience\nProven experience operating CNC milling machines in a manufacturing or factory setting with a strong understanding of CNC programming languages like Mazatrol.\nFamiliarity with Mazatrol controls or similar CNC control systems is highly desirable.\nKnowledge of CAD software such as Mastercam or similar programs for designing or reviewing parts.\nHands-on experience with CAM programming software for creating efficient toolpaths.\nMechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of machining processes, tooling setup, and materials handling.\nPrior experience working with blueprint reading, GD&T standards, and precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers.\nAbility to work safely in a manufacturing environment while adhering to all safety protocols related to machinery operation.\nBasic math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machine settings; factory experience is preferred for understanding manufacturing workflows.
