This role is responsible for front office support, patient check-in, insurance-related administrative functions, and ensuring a smooth patient experience while maintaining accuracy and workflow efficiency.This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for experienced candidates with strong insurance knowledge and prior physician office experience.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and check in patients in a professional and timely mannerCollect co-pays, balances, and patient payments accuratelyVerify demographic, insurance, and patient informationMaintain strong working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plansReview insurance eligibility, coverage details, and payer requirementsAssist with insurance verification, benefit-related questions, and front-end administrative supportManage cash, check, and credit card balancing as neededImport and organize documentation from front office systems and fax portalsRecord patient communication and correspondence accurately in EHR/EMRSupport scheduling, patient flow, and general front office operationsCommunicate professionally with patients, providers, and coworkersAssist with additional administrative tasks as assigned by managementQualifications2+ years of front office experience in a private physician office or specialty clinic preferredStrong insurance knowledge required, including:Commercial insurance plansEligibility verificationCoverage reviewPatient financial responsibility understandingPrior healthcare administrative or insurance-heavy medical office experience strongly preferredExperience handling patient payments and balancing daily deposits preferredStrong EMR/EHR experienceHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environmentProfessional demeanor with strong customer service skillsReliable, patient-focused, and team-orientedPreferred ExperiencePain management, specialty clinic, or high-volume physician office experienceInsurance verification / front-end revenue cycle exposureScheduling and patient intake experienceBenefitsWe offer our employees a competitive salary plus a comprehensive benefits package.
