Sr. Content Creator
WBFF/WNUV is seeking a Sr. Content Creator. The person will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, shooting and editing cutting edge commercials for our clients. Live production experience is a plus.Responsibilities:Direct and shoot local commercials and PSAs in-studio and on location using MILC (mirrorless) and other prominent camera types.Edit commercials, PSAs and occasional long-form videosManage commercial productions from start to finishPrepare graphics, footage, and other assets for projectsOperate studio equipment including lights, cameras, audio, chromakey walls, etc. for studio productionsFormat and distribute projects to Sales team, Master Control (air) and Digital (CTV).Coordinate and produce field shootsEdit packages for local Lifestyle program segments as neededAttend production and training meetings as neededParticipate in station sponsored promotional eventsPerform duties of other team members in their absenceOther responsibilities as assigned Requirements:Proficiency and experience editing is required (Adobe Premiere Pro preferred). Experience with other Adobe Creative Suite software (Photoshop, After Effects) strongly preferredA minimum of 4-5 years paid experience in commercial or video production A strong understanding of fundamental design, sense of color, typography, and compositionStrong project management skills and a proven track record for seeing projects through from start to client approvalAdvanced knowledge of the post-production process, including media management and encoding video to various formatsAbility to maintain a variety of projects and work with varying production styles while employing strong client service skillsAdvanced knowledge of High-definition (HD) and 4k cameras (MILC preferred) and videography, motion graphics and standard lighting techniquesAbility to maintain digital assets, archives and edit systemsSuperb attention to detail, time management skills, and strong communication abilitiesProven ability to work collaboratively with sales, clients, and the creative services teamExcellent verbal, written, and organizational skills are a mustWillingness to periodically work different shifts, some weekends, and eveningsMust maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving recordThe ability to routinely lift, carry, and move equipment in excess of 40 lbs.A Bachelor’s college degree in Communications or related fieldA link or portfolio to recent shooting and editing work demonstrating your skills and talents is required. The hourly compensation range for this role is $23.21 to $29.01. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
