The Packaging Operator ensures all packaging operations are conducted efficiently, safely, and effectively at the assigned pack-out line while following company policies, core values, and safety procedures.\nSummary of Essential Job Functions\nOperate and maintain safe packaging, material handling, and visual inspection processes within EHS and Quality policy guidelines.\nAdhere to Good Packaging Practices (GPPs) to maintain product integrity.\nPerform complete blowdowns in accordance with customer quality standards.\nAssist the Packaging Lead in setting up packaging lines.\nSet up transfer hoses to railcars while following GPPs.\nVerify and initial paperwork before starting new packaging orders.\nReview and initial test prints after approval from the Packaging Lead.\nReport any quality concerns encountered during packaging to the Packaging Lead.\nComplete assigned training in Paylocity to maintain compliance and skill development.\nMaintain housekeeping standards in the work area to ensure cleanliness and organization.\nAssist the Packaging Lead in completing all tasks assigned by management.\nRequirements:\nMinimum Requirements\n6–12 months of Warehouse experience.\n6–12 months of Operations experience.\nAbility to work with minimal supervision.\nAvailability to work weekends and holidays as required.\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.\nAbility to work rotating shifts and adapt to last-minute schedule changes.\nFlexibility to work with different crews as needed.\nAbility to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl occasionally.\nAbility to lift 55 lbs.\nAbility to stand for long periods.\nAbility to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity, etc.).\nDisclaimer\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
