Monitors and assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.This role is onsite in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.Sign-on Bonus EligibleWhat You Will DoServe as the primary technology and engineering focal point for leadership and the customer on various programsResponsible to guide engineering development in accordance with the Management Systems, Engineering Process, requirements, budget, and schedule.Develops and monitors project plans, schedules, and budgets for small to mid-size projects and suggests appropriate adjustments to ensure adherence to the established project plan, schedule, and budget.Provide Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis on assigned programsLead development, planning and executing SETR events (PDR, CDR, TRR, etc)Define and manage technical risks & opportunities and develop and execute mitigation plansProvide guidance to multidisciplined teams, leading effective working sessions and trade studies, cultivating and reinforcing group values, and identifying, analyzing and correcting technical problemsWork to influence within and outside of work area at an operational level regarding policies, practices, and procedures within the organizationCoach, review, and delegate work to lower-level professionalsWorks with resource managers to ensure that the project is appropriately staffed.Qualifications You Must HaveTypically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.Candidate must be well organized and able to communicate effectively with engineering team, leadership and customers.Experience in avionics systems development, verification/validation, and interfaces Experience utilizing and communicating programmatic earned value (EV) and has experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM).Experience acting as of Project Management, Control Account Management (CAM), and earned valueExperience in technical risk & opportunity managementExperience in Leading Bid and Proposals for Defense TINA compliant bidsProposal support experience including writing Basis of Estimates (BOEs)Familiarity with Agile processes/methodologiesUnderstanding of Engineering, support for Systems Engineering, Software, Hardware, and Firmware development and collaborationActive and transferable SECRET clearance - current, is required prior to start dateU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearanceQualifications We PreferExperience or exposure to leading team with applications such as Microsoft Project, Confluence/JIRAAgile experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or other Agile leadership rolesFamiliarity with bidding and project/task estimation tools (e.g., SEER products)Competence in peer review processes, configuration, and change managementUnderstanding of military concepts of operations or Data, Displays and ControlsDo you want to be a part of something bigger?
