Slot Technician

Nestled in the Rocky Mountains at 8,058 ft above sea level is the city of Black Hawk, Colorado. Known in the mid 1800’s for its ample supply of lode gold, this town once heavy with mines, is now home to Colorado’s premier gaming district. At the top of the city is Saratoga Casino- Black Hawk hosting 365 slot machines, a variety of favorite table games, dining and gift shop. Saratoga Casino Black Hawk is currently owned and operated by Saratoga Casino Holdings, LLC. We are now looking to expand our team as we continue to provide the city of Black Hawk with the best guest service and gaming experience possible! Our current opening is for a SLOT TECHNICIAN. This position will report directly to the SLOTS MANAGER, and will be responsible for: Responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of all slot machines and gaming equipment within the casino. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all slot machines are in excellent working condition to provide our guests with a seamless gaming experience. Machine Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on all slot machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing components as necessary. Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure machines are in optimal working order. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and software issues on slot machines. Identify and resolve technical problems promptly to minimize disruptions to casino operations. Collaborate with other technicians and casino staff to address complex technical issues. Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that all gaming equipment complies with local gaming regulations and standards. Maintain and update gaming equipment in accordance with industry requirements. Testing and Calibration: Test and calibrate slot machines to ensure they meet performance standards and payout percentages. Conduct thorough testing after repairs to ensure machines are functioning correctly. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and concerns related to slot machines. Assist guests with simple issues and direct complex problems to appropriate personnel. Marginal Functions Acts as “Runner” and buys change for guests. Informs Casino Host of “high roller” guests in the casino and introduces them to the new players. The successful candidate for this role will possess the following: Previous experience as a Slot Repair Technician or similar role in the gaming industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of slot machine mechanics, electronics, and software. Ability to use hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing devices. Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High School Diploma Preferred Previous experience as a Slot Repair Technician or similar role in the gaming industry is preferred. Additional education or certifications related to casino operations, Title 31 compliance, or customer service is advantageous. Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required.
