This role is a union role on second shift from 2pm-10:30pm. Overtime will be required when needed as well as every 5th weekend (paid overtime). Ideal candidate will be trained to conduct wastewater sampling and expected to drive a forklift within the facility.\nEssential Job Functions:\nResponsible for filling all packaged products (drums and totes) that are needed.\nPrint all product labels needed for products.\nPrepare transfer sheets of packaged material to send to shipping.\nconfirm proper product labels and hazard labels are on all packaging.\nRecord packaging data, such as weighs, tanks, batch numbers, etc for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.\nUse of bar code technology, systems and hardware\nAttends, and participates in all team daily meetings\nPerforms periodic safety inspections\nEnters work requests for repairs and maintenance\nActively participate in safety protocols\nResponsible for off shift wastewater maintenance coverage on shift and rotating weekend.\nCoordinate actions with various departments in plant; shipping, operations, Quality Control and other departments as needed.\nAbility to operate a fork truck and yard tractor.\nUse computers for various applications, such as database management SAP,\nMust be able to operate a forklift and yard tractor.\nAnswer telephones, read and respond to emails and provide information to appropriate individuals.\nCreate Labels\nOperate office equipment, such as copiers, and printers and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions.\nComplete forms in accordance with company procedures.\nCoordinate projects or contribute to committee or teamwork.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nQualifications & Experience:\nHigh School diploma or GED equivalent required\nManufacturing and Plant experience preferred\nAbility to work 2nd shift (2-10:30pm) and weekends when required\nAbility to operate forklift, yard tractor or spotter truck\nSAP label printing experience preferrable\nArxada has world class offering in three distinct areas:\nConsumer Microbial Control (CMC) focuses on the threat posed by microorganisms to people, with products spanning the food and drink, professional hygiene, home and personal care, crop protection and wood protection areas.\nIndustrial Microbial Control (IMC) supplies antimicrobials and performance additives for the plastics, energy, textile and other industries, as well as dry-film and wet-state preservatives for the paints and coatings that provide protection and improve efficiency in the construction and marine sectors.\nNutrition, Care & Environmental (NCE), meanwhile, provides materials used to manufacture composites for electronics, aerospace and other markets, as well as vitamins and nutritional ingredients, chemicals and performance intermediates, and raw materials for a wide range of high-performance applications.\nArxada is an equal opportunity employer.
