Analyst - Acquisitions

As an investment manager, the firm executes full-service investment management from acquisition to asset management to disposition. As an independent fiduciary, the firm provides financial advisory and owner representation services.Title: Analyst – AcquisitionsReports to: Partner, AcquisitionsPosition requires strong ability to multitask and manage several projects simultaneously. Ideal candidate must be a self-starter with limited need for direct supervision. Candidate will assist the Acquisition department by creating, maintaining, and/or running financial projections and other reports in support of Acquisitions (to-be-acquired properties). The position is best suited for a recent college graduate, or candidate with 1-2 years’ relevant experience.Job Responsibilities:·        Underwriting potential acquisition and development opportunities·        Perform ARGUS and Excel based real estate cash flow modeling·        Prepare market feasibility analysis·        Compile, analyze and interpret market research·        Assist Acquisitions Department in property due diligence analysis on potential acquisitions·        Review operating statements, tenant leases, and rent rolls·        Research viability and financial condition of tenants·        Organize and maintain deal flow·        Assist in the preparation of materials to be presented to the Investment Committee supporting recommended investment activities·        Complete other tasks as assignedMinimum Requirements:·        Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics or Mathematics ·        Proficiency in financial modeling (required)·        Strong MS Word and Excel skills (required)·        1-2 years' relevant experience preferred but not required·        Familiarity working with ARGUS software preferred·        Experience modeling joint venture structures preferred but not required·        Appraisal, real estate coursework and/or strong accounting background helpful·        Must possess strong analytical, organizational and computer skills·        Light travelL&B Realty Advisors offers an excellent benefits package including vacation and sick pay, tuition reimbursement, PPO medical/dental/vision plan, matching 401(k) plan, above average holidays, health club reimbursement, and business casual work environment. L&B Realty Advisors is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values Diversity, Equity and Inclusion .  L&B Realty, Advisors LLP, is currently not sponsoring applicants for work visas and as a precondition of employment, you must be authorized to work in the United States permanently.
