This Position will manage the troubleshooting, testing, and repair of Electrical Infrastructure with on Commercial Solar Projects.Do Not Apply if you do not have Commercial Solar Troubleshooting Experience for 3 years or more.Hours: Monday – Thursday [4] 10 hour shifts per week. 7 am to 5 pm. Sometimes work Fridays.Travel 100% of the time. Do not apply if you cannot travel 100%. 3 to 5 nights in a hotel each week, usually 3. Vehicle provided to get to jobsites and drive home at end of travel. Per Diem included.Required Qualifications:Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable and clean driving record for the past 5 years.Minimum of 3 years experience with commercial PV equipment and installation.Minimum 3 years troubleshooting Commercial Photovoltaic Power SystemsExperience maintaining and servicing solar monitoring systems (SolarEdge, SMA, SunPower Monitoring, Enphase, Satcon, Xantrex, and other various monitoring sites).Experience maintaining and servicing solar inverters/micro-inverters (SMA, PVI, SolarEdge, Enphase, Fronius, Delta).Must be able to bend, squat and kneel.Ability to work at great heights, work in extreme environments, perform prolonged periods of repetitious duties, and lift at least 50 pounds frequently.Proficient with jpg, pdf, and file management within various computer programs such as Sales Force and various solar monitoring platforms.Duties include but not limited to:Manage and perform electrical work such as landing conductors, installing conduit, pulling wire, and installing electrical equipment.Perform electrical testing and commissioning per manufacturer instructions and industry standards.Utilize Meghommeter and Multimeter for electrical testing.Perform PV System Troubleshooting by testing inverters, conductors, and modules.Perform updates and information uploads into online customer and monitoring portals.Performs and supervises all tasks ensuring all safety practices are followed.OSHA 30 is a plus.Meet about and implement Site Safety plan on a daily basis. Ensure safety protocols are in place, done correctly, and documented. Applicant must be a competent and qualified person for fall protection.Communicate with on-site customer representatives, project manager, vendors making deliveries of equipment and material, and other subcontractors on the project.Able to read and understand drawings and plansets.Operate on equipment such as Boom Lift, Scissor Lift, VR ForkliftPerform material take offs, receive and manage materials onsiteWhen necessary run temporary laborer to assist in the workMust have a Real ID or PassportWatch carefully for operational problems by studying performance results and systems functioning and ways to apply improvements to speed up the job.
