This role involves performing analyses and preparing reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. The analyst will also participate in the preparation of budgets and schedules for all contract work and assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis. Additionally, the analyst ensures adequate funding is available by maintaining accurate records of expenditures and directing the preparation of contractual changes into control systems.\n\nIn this role, you will participate in the control of costs and schedules for contracts requiring a validated cost schedule control system. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nTypically requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field (or a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience).\nTypically 5+ years of related experience.\nExperience with management consulting, data analytics, finance, or other quantitative or analytical roles in business, program, or operations management.\nExperience in a finance-related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Schedule Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts, or Procurement Financial Analysis.\nExperience collecting data from several sources, performing analysis, and communicating data.\nExperience with advanced features in Excel (i.e., Pivot Tables, Vlookups, etc.).\nStrong business analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools.\nKnowledge of DoD, government contracting, and/or public auditing policies, labor rate composition.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAdvanced degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.\nCertification such as CPA, CFA, or PMP.\nExperience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.\nProven track record of leading financial projects or teams.\nStrong presentation skills and experience presenting to senior management.\nFamiliarity with project management methodologies and tools.\nExperience in a leadership role within a finance or accounting team.\n\nCompensation:\nPay Range:\n$92,117.00 - $126,660.50\nYour actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.\nElevate Your Career\nAt Sierra Space, we are committed to your personal and professional development.
