Senior Superintendent A well-established and highly respected commercial construction firm is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to oversee large-scale commercial projects throughout the greater Memphis region. This is a confidential direct-hire opportunity with a family-owned company known for long employee tenure, strong culture, and collaborative leadership.The organization specializes in complex commercial projects including healthcare, schools, churches, senior living, and institutional construction. Projects are typically located within driving distance of Memphis, allowing employees to be home every night.Position OverviewThe Senior Superintendent will be responsible for leading all on-site construction operations from project startup through closeout. This individual will manage subcontractors, field staff, scheduling, safety, and overall project execution while ensuring projects remain on schedule and within quality standards.This role is dedicated to overseeing one major project at a time, typically ranging from $10M–$20M+ in value and lasting between 12–36 months.Key ResponsibilitiesField Leadership & Project ExecutionLead all day-to-day field operations for assigned commercial construction projectsManage subcontractors, vendors, foremen, laborers, and assistant superintendentsMaintain project schedules and coordinate all site activitiesEnsure projects progress safely, efficiently, and according to specificationsDrive accountability and maintain high-quality workmanship standardsScheduling & CoordinationOwn and manage construction schedules from mobilization through closeoutCoordinate subcontractor sequencing and material deliveriesProactively identify and resolve field conflicts or delaysWork closely with project management and operations leadershipSite OversightFully onsite overseeing project execution from start to finishConduct regular site inspections and progress meetingsEnsure compliance with safety protocols and construction standardsMaintain organized project documentation and reportingQualificationsRequired10+ years of experience leading commercial construction projects as a SuperintendentExperience overseeing projects valued at $10M+Strong commercial construction backgroundProven experience managing field operations from ground-up through closeoutAbility to manage subcontractors, schedules, and site coordination independentlyStrong leadership and communication skillsBenefitsMedical coverage through Blue Cross Blue Shield HSA plan401(k) with safe harbor company contributionThree weeks PTOPaid holidaysVehicle allowance and company technology provided
