The role requires not only strong technical expertise but also the ability to engage directly with business stakeholders, understand their needs, and translate them into scalable, secure, and impactful AI solutions.\nPosition Responsibilities May Include:\nMaintain and optimize Daikinamericas.ai platform, ensuring reliability, security, and performance.\nDesign, develop, and deploy AI-enabled applications and other approved initiatives.\nEngage directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements, clarify use cases, and align AI solutions with business objectives.\nTranslate business needs into technical specifications and actionable development plans.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, product, business users) to deliver AI solutions that meet enterprise standards.\nIntegrate Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and related services into business workflows and applications.\nEnsure adherence to AI governance, security, and responsible AI practices.\nMonitor, evaluate, and continuously improve deployed applications for accuracy, adoption, and user experience.\nProvide clear documentation and knowledge transfer to support adoption and scaling across departments.\nSupport proofs-of-concept and pilot programs for new AI opportunities.\nPerform other tasks as assigned\nNature & Scope:\nApplies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience\nEncouraged to seek continuous improvements\nPerforms a range of mainly straightforward assignments\nWorks independently with general supervision\nProblems faced are difficult but not typically complex\nKnowledge & Skills:\nProficiency in Azure ecosystem: Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Functions, Cognitive Services, and API integrations.\nStrong coding skills in Python and/or Java for AI application development.\nExperience with Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP, embeddings, and prompt engineering.\nKnowledge of MLOps practices, deployment pipelines, and monitoring AI applications.\nFamiliarity with enterprise data governance, security, and compliance requirements.\nStrong communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and translate non-technical requirements into AI solutions.\nAbility to balance technical depth with practical, business-oriented outcomes.\nCompetencies:\nOperational Understanding – Understands business challenges and aligns AI applications with measurable outcomes.\nCollaboration – Works seamlessly across IT, business units, and governance teams\nCommunication – Able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa.\nExecution & Ownership – Takes initiative to move projects from concept to production.\nInnovation – Applies AI creatively to solve business problems.\nAdaptability – Comfortable navigating evolving AI technologies and business priorities.\nExperience:\n3–5 years of experience in AI/ML, software development, or data science.\nHands-on experience building and deploying AI-powered applications (e.g., chatbots, search, recommendation, NLP).\nProven experience engaging with business users to define requirements and deliver tailored solutions.\nPrior experience with Azure AI services in enterprise environments is highly desirable.\nEducation/Certification:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field.\nPreferred certifications:\nAdditional AI/ML or data-focused certifications considered a plus.\n\nQualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
