Learn more at www.esource.com.\nHow you’ll help\nPerforming power system analysis and network modeling to meet client specifications in reliability, regulation, and quality requirements.\nConducting studies in areas such as generator connections, voltage stability, arc-flash energy, insulation coordination, and power station design.\nPreparing detailed technical reports and contributing to technical work products.\nCollaborating with a global team to execute studies and deliver high-quality solutions.\nManaging client relationships and expectations, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.\nContributing to business development activities and identifying new client opportunities.\nWill perform power system analysis for transmission system, including power flow, voltage stability, transient stability and short circuit analyses.\nWhat will make you a great fit\nBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering\nPreferred master’s degree in Power Systems Engineering\nSome experience in stability study using PSS/E, congestion analysis/cost modeling studies or cluster feasibility studies across various ISOs (MISO, CAISO, PJM, SPP or other ISOs)\nKnowledge in electric power system, synchronous generator, motor, power electronic inverters, wind turbines and solar.\nExperience with transmission studies on power flow, voltage stability, and other power system analyses.\nProficient with the PSS®E software package, including all modules for load-flow, short-circuit and transient stability analysis.
