This role supports quality assurance activities throughout the manufacturing process using standard inspection methods, precision measuring tools, and statistical process control techniques.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect products, parts, assemblies, raw materials, tooling, and instruments for compliance with design and quality requirementsUtilize measuring devices, testing equipment, and statistical process control (SPC) methodsPerform Initial Sample Inspection Records (ISIR), First Article Inspections (FAI), and conformity inspectionsIdentify, document, and communicate non-conformances and quality issuesRaise quality notifications and support corrective actions as requiredSupport continuous improvement and process improvement initiativesPartner with engineering teams to resolve inspection and testing challengesCommunicate inspection findings and quality concerns with internal and external stakeholdersWork collaboratively in a team-oriented manufacturing environmentPerform additional duties as needed to support business operationsRequired QualificationsAssociate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferredMinimum 5 years of quality inspection or manufacturing experience in a relevant industryStrong blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) interpretation skillsExperience with PCB and cabling inspectionsKnowledge of UL components complianceExperience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipmentProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsCertification in a quality discipline preferred (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT), ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, etc.)Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) preferredIf you have experience in manufacturing quality inspection, medical device quality systems, or precision inspection environments, we encourage you to apply.Recruiter Contact InfoSajag BhardwajEmail: sajag.bhardwaj@ameritconsulting.comwww.ameritconsulting.comI'd love to talk to you if you think this position is right up your alley, and assure prompt communication, whichever direction.
