Our focus is security around the doorway and beyond.\nSenior Mechanical Engineer\nAllegion is looking for a passionate Senior Mechanical Engineer to work as part of a highly engaged small team within a global organization. You’ll work on solutions that enable seamless access and help keep people safe.\nResponsibilities Develop and design products that improve building security and seamless access.\nImprove product designs to meet reliability, quality and cost targets.\nExecute projects in a team work environment to bring products to market.\nCollaborate with engineers, vendors and other functions to create and justify business cases.\nSupport cross‑functional engineering, manufacturing, and product test teams by understanding and solving problems.\nQualifications Engineering degree required.\nAt least 5 years of experience in the design development process.\nProficiency with engineering tools including FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, GD&T, tolerance stack analysis & DFM/DFA.\nUnderstanding of manufacturing processes: stamping, forging, casting, powder metal, machining, injection molding.\nUnderstanding of high‑tolerance / high‑volume machining and assembly processes.\nProficiency in CAD modeling; Creo preferred.\nPassion for the intersection of mechanical, electronics, and new technologies.\nBenefits Health, dental and vision insurance coverage.\n401(k) plan with 6% company match and no vesting period.\nTuition reimbursement.\nUnlimited PTO.\nEmployee discounts through Perks at Work.\nCommunity involvement and opportunities to give back.\nCliftonStrengths testing and coaching.\nCompensation Base salary range: $95,000.00 – $125,000.00.
